Greetings in the name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and Welcome to my Web site!
The Great Requirement: The Fear of The God When I talk with various pastors, it becomes very clear to me that many of them are living far beneath the blessings God has prepared for them. Pastors are quick to point out to the people that God has so many blessings waiting just for them. However, often times pastors fail to tell them how to acquire the blessings from the Lord, and at the same time they suffer lack themselves. Deut. 13: 4 tells us this; Vs. 4 - You shall walk after the Lord your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey him and cleave unto him. Basically, this verse describes what the fear of the Lord is all about. Simply put, the fear of Lord is to take sides with God, and to have the same attitude he has toward sin.
Deut. 10: 12, 13 tells us this; Vs. 12 - And now Israel. What doeth the Lord require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk In all his ways, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul. Vs. 13 - To keep the commandments of the Lord, and his statues, which I command thee this for thy good. day. As proclaimers of the good news, we must get back to teaching about the FEAR of God. It seems that this teaching has somehow been placed on the back burner. The times seem to indicate that we are more concerned about self-gratification and material things above fearing God. Come on men and women of God; let’s get back to the old landmark. God is still on throne, and we still his subjects. Fear ye Him! _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ |
